Training & Workshops
Redhead has experience of developing a range of training courses and workshops ranging from a few hours to a timetabled programme of training days for participants. We aim to provide a quality experience that offers learner's the opportunity to enjoy learning in an environment that is engaging and sensitive to every learners needs. We develop courses and workshops to meet the specific needs of each group and are flexible in delivery and approach. Below is a list of the courses & workshops we can provide. Feel the Vibe - DJing workshop is ideal for young people & used for consultations
Capture the Moment - Creative workshop for community groups to build confidence and promote community participation.
Kids in the Environment - Shows how to involve young people in environmental projects and activities.
Creating a Community Garden - The how to guide to developing a community garden in your community.
Mad about Mosaics - A fun and engaging workshop to show how to make simple mosaics for indoor & outdoor use for community projects.
Willow Weaving for Beginners - A unique opportunity to learn the basic skills to create objects and basic structures for indoor & outdoor projects.
Live Willow Sculptures - A hands on workshop that will span a few sessions showing you how to use different willow to create sculptures and structures. Participants will learn about the tools and techniques needed to create and maintain living willow sculptures and structures.
Nature Trail Art - Art is not limited to indoors it can be taken into the environment. This workshop will show you how to use a variety of low cost and recycled materials to create signs, way-markers and much more.
Low Cost Environmental Interpretation - Interpretation can cost a fortune, this workshop is ideal for small community groups and schools to learn how to create durable, low costing interpretation for all to use and learn from.
Bugs & Birds - Learn how to make bird boxes along with insect and bug houses from a variety of materials. This workshop is ideal for young children of school age, teachers or community development workers who want to learn how to do something fun and educational.
Raised Bed Training - A practical hands on workshop that will work with participants to show them how to design and build a raised bed used for planting and growing. Learn how to use tools safely along with practical demonstrations. This is a great course for anyone working with environmental projects or groups.
